MiBody Lytics Occupational Therapists can assess a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to: stroke, acquired or traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, severe orthopaedic injuries, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and chronic pain.
During your MiBody Lytics occupational therapy session, you can expect to undergo an assessment that will encompass your injuries or disability, abilities, and limitations. Specifically, this will include questions and examinations related to your physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and environmental aspects of daily life. Your therapist will work with you to determine your goals for the NDIA, or provide an opinion for your insurer or legal representative, which will then be supplied in a written report.
At time of booking, a location for your medicolegal or NDIA assessment will be confirmed. This can occur at your own home, your solicitor's office, or via online platforms.
The length of a MiBody Lytics Occupational Therapy assessment depends on each individual and your specific needs. Some individuals may require a 1-2 hour assessment, while others may require 3-4 hours, depending on the complexity of the injury, disability, or needs. This will be determined at time of booking.
