MiBody Lytics is led by Founder and Director, Claire Ibrahim, an occupational therapist with almost two decades of clinical experience across hospital and disability settings in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Claire specialises in occupational therapy medicolegal assessment and expert witness reporting, with extensive experience in catastrophic and complex injury presentations. Her work commonly involves acquired and traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, orthopaedic trauma, psychological injury, and lifelong disability. Expert opinion is directed to functional capacity, activities of daily living, vocational capability, and injury-related functional loss, translating real-world function into clear, defensible conclusions within medicolegal and litigation contexts.
Prior to establishing MiBody Lytics as a dedicated medicolegal practice, Claire held senior clinical leadership roles overseeing clinical excellence, professional capability, and practice standards across large occupational therapy teams. This experience contributes to the depth of clinical reasoning, analytical discipline, and professional oversight underpinning her expert witness work.
This breadth of clinical exposure, combined with disciplined analytical reasoning and contemporary occupational therapy practice knowledge, underpins the credibility and reliability of Claire’s expert witness reporting across personal injury, insurance, and litigation matters.
Claire holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) and a Master of Health Services Management. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.
Her medicolegal practice is informed by sustained clinical experience and ongoing engagement with contemporary research, professional standards, and evidence-based assessment methodologies. This ensures occupational therapy medicolegal opinions remain current, analytically rigorous, and aligned with evolving best-practice expectations within personal injury, insurance, and litigation environments.
